The West Winds Distillery and Tavern serves delicious food and lovely Cocktails. Rosie's Deli does the most amazing food on Friday and Saturday evenings but you have to pre-book as demand is high. It is well worth it! The Servo Taphouse has a mind-boggling selection of beers and Ales from around the world. Great atmosphere and live music. Friday night was particularly busy...the weekend's here! to top it off 'The Peace Tree' does wine tastings right in the town.

Loved the quiet country feel Cowaramup has.

Loved the quiet country feel Cowaramup has. Close to Margaret River and Dunsborough to be able to visit but able to unwind back in a relaxed environment without the insane amount of suburbia the other towns have become.

Cowaranup was a big surprise as it had changed since my last quick visit many years ago. It was easy to wander from shop to shop, all filled with interesting items to tempt you - including the best bakery with the best pizzas. We will certainly return at some time and, hopefully, be able to stay at The Noble Grape again which is only a 5 minute walk away from all the temptations in Cowaranup.

Cowaramup is a small rural town full of character.

Cowaramup is a small rural town full of character. Perfect location for visiting the Margaret River region. We enjoyed a meal at the local Club and got to meet a few locals, who welcomed us warmly. Local petrol station in town (Golden Jersey) also hires mountain bikes, with many trails nearby to explore (only 13km to Margaret River). Great local bakery and a number of other specialty shops focussed on tourism. We have often stopped here but never stayed before; so glad we did.

Cowaramup Tips for a Great Review

Cowaramup Tips for a Great Review What were your favorite spots? I love staying near the main street (I normally stay at the Noble Grape Bed & Breakfast), so I can walk to get coffee or to the local shops. I love, LOVE staying at the Noble Grape. When I visit Margaret River, I generally stay here because the venue itself is very cute. A breakfast is included in your booking and the local red-capped parrots generally stop by to eat their breakfast at the same time. Where did you eat? Breakfast is included at the Noble Grape, so I enjoy my breakfast there. Duck down to temper temper, a chocolate shop and buy a coffee before heading out to explore the south west region. Is getting around Cowaramup easy? No, it is not. Do not travel to WA's wine region expecting public transport. You will need a hire car or to sign on to some wine/beer/cider tours. What are some fun activities for families with young children like yours? Yes, there are many family orientated activities. Lots of playgrounds, riding routes and child friendly dinner venues in the region.

Really cute little town and very convenient for the whole Margaret River experience. My favourite trip was to Hamelin Bay where you can pet the huge stingrays. We also had a great lunch at the Black Sheep.

We loved this property! It is an old converted bakery. The rooms are very comfortable, gorgeously designed, with all the amenities you would need. The gardens are beautiful and the property is situated within walking distance of the shops in Cowaramup, and a short drive to Margaret River. We had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing weekend.

Charming Cottage-like Guesthouse stay! This place is wonderfully styled with cute Cowaramup Cows everywhere. The beds were very comfortable and the continental breakfast was fresh and a relaxing way to start the day. You are also located right at the entrance to the town of Cowaramup and are only a 3 minute walk to the town centre.

We spent two relaxing days at Olio Bello. The property has luxury touches and is located near a tranquil lake. You get to see a Kangaroo or two roaming the place at times along with other farm animals. This place is suitable for both couples and families.

Great location, walking distance from the town and central to a lot of what Margaret River has to offer but far enough away from all the hype to still be quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful and with only 6 rooms it had a very homely feel
