We knew the views would blow us away.... and they really did. They are truly exceptional and vary through the day. We absolutely loved staying here. The gauze screens on all the doors meant we could go to sleep with doors open listening to the river, crickets and bird-life. And the cows from time to time too, of course. A wallabi visited at dusk one evening and we saw many from afar. One bedroom is off the veranda with no other connection to the bathrooms or rest of the house, no real hardship but worth pointing out. This traditional farm house has everything you need. We drove to Barrington Tops for walks in the national park.

What a beautiful stay! I was not expecting to have a beautiful river view, it exceeded expectations and was the most peaceful place. We saw chickens ducks and kangaroos and had a fire and played the games that were provided. Highly recommend playing “go low” card game just don’t drink as much wine as we did otherwise it gets a bit tricky. Gorgeous stay, super comfy and cosy, you can cook really anything using the facilities provided to. Love it and will be staying again!

We loved the location and the beautiful river at our backyard. It was beautiful but we found it quite expensive for what it was.

As soon as we set foot in the place we were welcomed by the very friendly hosts, their dog and an abundant of friendly lorikeets. The breakfasts were 5 star. The bed was so comfortable, and being able to choose your pillow was an added bonus. The multiple areas to have a firepit, relax, cook your own food meant you didn't need to be anywhere else. Copeland house was close enough to explore the Barrington tops areas without having to drive too far away.

The location was convenient and quiet, and was located across the road from the police station and court house (guessing why it's called Coppers Hill). The twin beds were very comfortable and the bed linen was top notch. Bathroom toiletries were generous and good brands. Generous choice of coffee bags and tea bags. There were two bottles of water and some biscuits, and two chocolates on each bed which was a lovely touch. There was also a supply of crockery and cutlery, toaster and kettle.
The wifi was fast and consistent.
There is no on-site reception and access is via a key code which is texted just before the arrival time of 2pm.

Such a beautiful home and so well equipped - has all the kitchen gadgets and equipment to make staying with kids or a bigger group super easy.
We were only there for a night and still felt to comfy and looked after.

The national park has tremendous views and varied greenery, particularly the Gloucester Tops loop, though are understandably a fair drive to access, a 4WD vehicle gets you further in. Rain will bring the leeches out climbing up your shoes but they're fairly harmless! Driving over multiple causeway bridges adds interest to exploring.

The country around Barrington is lovely.
The country around Barrington is lovely. We had hoped to walk in the Gloucester Tops but one road in was closed by floods and the other had fords that were covered by high levels of fast-flowing water that we considered not safe to drive through in our SUV.
However the 4.4 walk around Copeland Tops went through mixed eucalyptus forest and rainforest, involved stepping on rocks over the creek in a number of places and was generally excellent.
We also went to the local museum in Gloucester which had many artefacts from gold mining in the area.
