Excellent place to relax and enjoy the scenery or get out...

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the scenery or get out and about to nearby tourist options (Mona, Hobart etc town). Well equipped for self catering with supermarket choices nearby (IGA or Woolworths - also a Bottle Shop if required). Will need to bring your own condiments etc but the kitchen has a working oven and stove & all of the utensils you need to cook with (just not the ingredients, although there was some salt and pepper). Didn't try out any of the local restaurants as Mona was closed when we rang (Wednesday). I brought my own fishing rod but John had 2 available with a little bit of tackle that would have done the job. It was a short walk down to the rocks to fish and I caught a Flathead and saw some kids catch a Bream while I was there. Fishing in the evening I saw some Dolphins breaching nearby. There Is plenty of room inside and outdoors (on the deck or in the garden) to relax and dine. I had a very enjoyable time reading a book and watching the birds, boats & humans going by. It was very comfortable choice for our short stay and would be suitable for a large group. Check in was painless and John's communication was excellent before and during our stay. He provided clear directions on how to locate the house (which was needed). Highly recommended.
