    Toi Mahara Gallery was excellent.

Toi Mahara Gallery was excellent. Also excellent was the Olive Cafe just along from the gallery. All the food was homemade and delicious - very hard to decide what to eat. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to check out Waikanae Beach. We had dinner at Prah Ta Pang a Cambodian restaurant. It was also delicious and would highly recommend it.

The photos of the property lived up to our the warm and sunny property we stayed at. Our grandsons had no time for screens and just played outside, with the the sticks being a highlight and lots of superheros play. Loved the trampoline and swings too! We were 10mins drive to the beach, shops, pool, restaurants etc. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay at this special property. We would love to visit in the future.

I have lived in Kapiti for many years so am very familiar with the region. Waikanae is a lush green area, with a stunning family friendly safe beach. For entertainment there are a number of , and variety of, eateries, also a resturant and bar perfectly suitable for all ages to enjoy.

    Waikanae is a real treasure.

Waikanae is a real treasure. Not congested and in the perfect location to be far but not too close to Wgtn central. Fabulous beach and excellent train service. Shops etc. we're great and travel distance to Paraparaumu and Peka Peka beaches each way is awesome.

We liked the local fish and chip shop.Very popular cafes nearby. We were unhappy that $24 approx per head was added to the rent, for linen costs, when we would have been quite happy to supply our own if we had been given the option!! We enjoyed driving into see Wellington city as we came from Tauranga.. Some brochures on Wellington would have been helpful.

The accomodation is a great renovation of an older house - they have done a great job inside, outside is very unassuming and very suburban. inside though - modern and super clean and everything you could need for your stay was really cold in waikanae but the heating options in the house for day and night were great having the second toilet was great with the family off street parking was good communication was good - and an emergency contact available if needed.

Beautiful apartment in a quiet, peaceful setting. Has everything needed for a weekend retreat, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Friendly helpful hosts who know the area made us feel at home. Happy to accommodate our bikes too. The views and birdlife add to the feeling of getting away from the city, though its just a short drive into Waikanae for restaurants, cafes and the beach. Close to the Kapiti cycle trail which we enjoyed using.

After staying in 9 AIR B&Bs, Te Moana Air B&B exceeds all in every way. The facilities were excellent. We had a spacious room, a well appointed ensuite and access to a lounge where we also had breakfast. The Continental breakfast was excellent. Plenty of cereal, muesli and fruit. To top the experience off, our Hostess, Diana, was most gracious and amiable in conversation. I will go back there any time I am in the Kapiti Coast.

This is a lovely, spacious and meticulous cottage behind the main house. There is a pretty garden and the walking trail to Waikanae Beach and The Scientific Nature Reserve is right behind the house. The hosts met us when we arrived to see if we needed anything. They are very friendly and gave us great info on local hikes, activities, and restaurants. I highly recommend this cottage!

Size of the room was comfortable enough for family to relax. Carpet was very clean. Bath room was also big. Kitchen has everything you need. Shops, cafes and supermarket near by. Quiet surroundings with very peaceful neighbors. Our kids enjoyed little play area, which has been maintained nicely. Compare to many hotels in Paraparaumu, far much good value.

We enjoyed the fresh fruit and range of cereals and bread for breakfast. The location is near to the Waikanae shops and right next to the river trail which was great for walks and bike riding. It's only a 45 minute bike ride or a short drive to Waikanae Beach which is great for swimming.

Comfortable garage apartment--as if your friend or favorite aunt allowed you to use her holiday guest house Homey, thoughtful touches made our stay pleasant. We appreciated the croissants, jams, honey, fresh milk and yogurt, cereals. Pleasant porch and short walk to the beach.
