Papamoa is a very laid back and peaceful place to visit. Everything you need is right on the doorstep and really great to visit a beach that isn't crowded. Everyone you meet while walking along the beach are friendly (including the dogs) and it's a lovely place to relax and be at one with nature.

We had a lovely stay over looking the beach. Laundry facilities are always a bonus - $2 coins needed. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Close to cafes, takeaways and shopping. Lovely coffee cart nearby.

Papamoa is ideally situated close to Mt Maunganui yet far away enough to retain a sense of peace. It's also within an hour's drive of beautiful Ohope Beach &, to the north, Waihi Beach, both of which are well worth visiting (especially Ohope Beach & Whaktane).

Papamoa is a lovely beach resort town.
Papamoa is a lovely beach resort town. There's plenty of beach space with a surf club to patrol the beach. There are plenty of food outlets to cater for all needs. The walkways are a great asset to encourage people outdoors for their chosen exercise routine.

Everything was fantastic but I probably would let my customers know that there are stairs involved especially if they have someone on crutches or a disability and would find climbing the stairs a problem. Not that it deterred us but would be good to note that.
We really liked our stay here, you have your own apartment with a sitting area on the outside with tropical plants around - very pretty. You are very close to the beach and can walk to it. And you are in a super nice quiet neighborhood - perfect for a relaxed stay. the apartment has everything you need and is clean and comfortable.
the family is super nice and we liked to talk to them.
We can highly recommend staying here - when coming to Papamoa.
All the facilities were everything we needed for our restful breakaway. We planned to have as much time in as out so having Sky TV was just what we wanted. We were within 200mtrs to a shopping centre and across the road to beach access, and situated at the far end of Papamoa Beach made it very accessable to the Eastern Bay of Plenty beaches. The breakfast supplies were plentiful and Jane could not do enough for us.
A place that is value for money, clean and dry on a rainy weekend. The unit was an older style but warm and comfortable.
You are at walking distance to the beach. You are a car ride distance to the many attractions of the Bay of Plenty. There are many accommodation options available at the Pacific Park Christian camp.
Loved the location - quiet, handy to the supermarket, the beach, Papamoa centre (with some nice restaurants).
The room is very clean, fairly new, modern with comfortable bed and very nice bathroom.
The host is lovely and accommodating.
Separated part of nice house was good for our two couples. Close to beach. Outdoor area was great for wine and cheese! Friendly host allowed us to secure our cycles in garage, Inexpensive when we split the costs over two parties.
Location, staying in Papamoa due to AIMs games. Easy walk to beach, supermarket and cafe close by.
Warm comfortable bedroom, excellent bathroom and small but well appointed kitchenette did the job for light meals and snacks.
The garden was lovely. Liked the electric gate. Loved being close to the beach. Great to have a dishwasher. We had 2 vehicles with trailers and our dirt bikes. They fitted easily into the driveway. The area felt safe.
Can't fault the location - it was right on the beach! Also close to shops, cafes & restaurants. Comfy beds, plenty of bathrooms and great kitchen, was great for our family of five!
Close to the shops and beach. Was pretty quiet for a busy road. Liked that It had 3 toilets. The room was nice and clean. Good spot for a very good price. Will come again.
loved the beach view of the cabins and they were nice and warm - everything needed for a great stay. Loved having private large decking area to spend time with friends.
The room is perfect for a family with young kids who need a separate space to sleep early in the evening or nap during the day. The beachfront location is excellent.
The house and gardens were lovely. Bed was comfortable and hosts were friendly and offered great suggestions for beach, restaurants and walk at “the mound”.
