We’d give this property a 10/10 as it had everything that was described - it offered a clean kitchen, clean shared bathroom (always very clean), good WiFi, nice warm room, friendly staff and quiet location. The property is also located not too far from the shuttles, bar, shop and restaurants. We’d definitely come back here again.

Great location in National Park, you need to have car as it is quite far from shops and restaurants. Nice staff and quite good facilities - hot tube was simply great! It is also possible to order simple breakfast.

Room had central heating and was double glazed. Bed was comfortable. Had lots of info and wall maps about things to do in the area (Tongariro Crossing, Mountains to Sea cycle trail).

This was the perfect location to overnight after checking out the local mountain drives and ski-resorts. Very cute railway station and a very special shout-out to the staff at the National Park Hotel (Thanks for putting on all of that 70's content...AND fire-lighting).
