Ahipara is a small town right on the Tasman sea. There was a herd of wild horses wandering the beach. The surfing looked good too. I enjoyed the quiet relaxed ambiance of this place and would recommended it over the busier bigger town of Kaitaia.

Ahipara is a beautiful part of the far north, we had great weather and good surf. Loved the apartment, it was warm & spacious, well appointed and beautifully kept.
A fantastic location overlooking the Tasman Sea. Stunning sunsets. Handy hint, don’t put the kettle on the hot stove top it will melt the bottom of the kettle, cost for new kettle $95 🤣

Ahipara is an awesome coastal town - great for fishing, surfing and outdoor lifestyle. Local superette has all you need. Plus Bidz takeaways are great for fish and chips. North Drift Cafe has excellent coffee and reakfast/lunch menu looked yummy although we didn't eat there. Overall Ahipara is a relaxed and enjoyable place to stay.

The Ahipara Sand Dunes are awesome if you are up for a colossal dune climbing challenge!! Stunning golden sand and breathtaking views at the top. You can hire quad bikes to zoom around the beaches or take your own 4x4 around the points at low tide. Starting from Shipwreck Bay it is about a 2km walk to get to the dunes, faster to take a 4x4 or quad bike. Cheaper to walk though :-)
The surf overlooking the beach from our accomodation looked fantastic. Some of the best left hand surf breaks in the world I'm sure.
Location. Location. Location.
Walking into the studio through the front door the first thing you see through the glass doors at the other end is 90 Mile Beach and the ocean in Ahipara Bay. The sunsets over the water are amazing!
The property is at the end of a quiet residential street so no through traffic, but it's a small town so there generally aren't a lot of cars anyway.
The studio was kitted out with a decent kitchenette and all the utensils you'd need (but we didn't use during our two night stay).
Fabulous location with panoramic view over Ahipara and entire Ninety Mile Beach. Lovely deck for enjoying a wine and nibbles while admiring the view. Room was quiet except for the pounding of the sea on the beach, which is what we were there for. Restaurant was a bonus - we both enjoyed our meals. Accommodation basic but clean and comfortable. Big spa bath which we didn't use.
Location, location, location. Peaceful, lush, surrounds and grounds. Facilities were great, kitchen, shared spaces, homely and comfortable, but private even with other patrons n the lodge. Beds very comfortable and spaces very clean. Loved that surf boards, BarBQ awere available with beach directly across the road. Parking available and access to the lodge easy.
The view!! Breath taking 😍😍. Going too sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean was priceless.
Me my husband son daughter in law and moko enjoyed every second minute hour of each day we were there. Life is good if you embrace it ❤.
EVERY thing about Ahipara Bay Motel Tino Ahua.

This place was amazing. We have been traveling in New Zealand for 5 weeks and have stayed in lovely places, but this was beyond expectations. They had everything (except a tea pot) and the attention to detail was delightful. The view was suburb and could be viewed from the bed. It was wonderful to wake up to the beach and crashing surf.
The view from the deck was beautiful and the property was very clean. We were in Ahipara for my Uncle’s 60th which was about 300m down on Foreshore Rd so the location was perfect! Thank you very much for a great stay will definitely be re booking when I come back to Ahipara :)
The view, access to the beach, extras available, overall The haven was a beautiful room to sit and relax with our visiting whanau as we prepared for a family wedding. It felt like a home away from home and would highly recommend to anyone I know visiting Ahipara.
Very comfortable and clean, small but perfectly equipped and stylish. Drop dead beautiful view over Shipwreck Bay. Hosts and family lovely, brought a fresh baked loaf of be rad our first day. Beach nearby and gorgeous. Highly recommend!!!!
Adam was a fantastic, friendly host who made us feel so welcome. We loved the hut, including its mod cons and all the extra home comforts. The view was spectacular too! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Ahipara : )
Nice and Cozy home with a beautiful view of the Ocean. Outdoor gated area for the children to eat and play and perfect location within Ahipara. Watching the Sum seat behind the Mountain every night was amazing.
Beach right in front… quiet street. Perfect location. Extremely clean. Owner on site. Great advice on where to go, what to see and what to do. Beautiful layout. Large kitchen well equipped. Two fridges.
The Ahipara Camp Ground is awesome place for the family and Friends, great place to meet people.
Ahipara is always an amazing beach for fishing diving.
Can't wait to return
Wonderful location. Just up the road from the beach and high enough for you to see far across the ocean. A good indoor and outdoor flow with a nice beach feel to the place
