We arrived at 8:30pm to the hotel.
We arrived at 8:30pm to the hotel. Went downstairs for dinner and it was 9:03 - The restaurant in the hotel was closed and would not serve us. The receptionist told us the village of Donabate had some Take Away places - so we hopped in the car and drove in - 5 minutes. We found a great Italian Place and had a nice meal. Luckily they were open. Same parking lot as the Supervalu - We also shopped there. Nice, very cute little village.
The location is amazing, especially when the weather is good. The food was really fresh and well priced and the Staff were so attentive and pleasant, anything we asked for they managed to facilitate and supply. The views from the dining room and patio area are wonderful as are the beach walks either side of the Hotel. It really is a little gem, I only wish I had booked a room with a sea view , I can’t wait to return.
The hotel is in located in one of the most beautiful locations. We walked along the beach at night and along the cliff walk , and watched seals playing in the sea. The outside terrace area was an excellent place to have a coffee and watch the sea. Great location.
The lady at the bar who served us was lovely , really friendly and joked away.
Breakfast was excellent and our waitress was adorable , so friendly .
Every aspect of the hotel is beautiful. The dining area is designed to perfection. The food was PHENOMENAL. The staff couldn’t have been any friendlier or helpful. We booked a room with a view of the beach and I suggest it to everyone considering staying here. The view of the beach was breathtaking and I can honestly say I’ve never slept on a more comfortable hotel bed.
location was my first perfectly places beside a stunning little beach amazing views , hotel is spotless and all safety measures adhered to checking in and out very fast ,room was beautiful small but well designed and room looking out the sea stunning , white linen and towels perfect and comfortable bed tea coffee making facilities an added bonus .
Lovely small hotel right on the beach. Refurbished rooms are very nice. Breakfast was lovely. Staff couldn't do more for you. Dinner was a bit pricey but nice. Outdoor terrace with coffee van outside. Great for kids and families who will spend most of the day on the beach. Easy drive to swords for shopping or dinner. Definitely will return.
Overall staff were very welcoming and helpful. Hotel is right beside/overlooking beach and we were lucky to get good weather so absolutely made the most of that. The food was good, although the menu is a bit limited, particularly for lunch, but would recommend checking out the 'toastie van' on the terrace if it's open when you stay there.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is lovely and the staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were extremely comfortable and very clean. The value was amazing, three of us stayed including dinner and breakfast for less than 200euro.
I would definitely return again and ask for a room with a sea view.
great location very convenient place to stay the night before traveling from the Dublin Airport. 15 minutes to rental car return, Great location right on a very walkable beach and great ocean views, On site restaurant was excellent and friendly staff,
Close to the airport yet felt like a holiday hotel. The staff was very friendly (reception and dining room). The food was good. We managed a lovely walk on the beautiful beach on a sunny morning before catching our flight out of Dublin.
Great location. Right on the beach and adjacent to a scenic walking path, easy and quick drive to rental car return at the Dublin airport. Comfortable and quiet room. Good breakfast choices.
location of hotel is perfect for a getaway by the sea. balcony room with a view is worth the upgrade as the view was amazing. staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.
beautiful hotel right at the shore. the rooms were rather small but very cute. the staff was very helpful and super friendly. Food was also very good at the restaurant.
