Lillebonne feels like quite an industrial town*, despite the Roman amphitheatre, but we rather liked it, the people were friendly. We found a very lively bar full of locals for an early evening drink. Also had a very good pizza at a tiny place next to the hotel. *There is a massive oil refinery a couple of miles away, which won't be to everyone's liking!

The staff actually seemed to enjoy their jobs. Breakfast was cheap but better than most. Centrally located in a really pretty town. I have been trekking in France for 2 months with different accommodation every night and this hotel is the best I have stayed in.LouAustralia
