The chateau is more of a B&B than a hotel, hence do not expect the hotel service or hotel style facilities. Your stay really in someone's home/chateau, the owner is a descendent of the original owners with a lot of very interesting history to share. The hosts are very pleasant and accommodating, we stayed with 2 large dogs, no problem. It was a nice experience to be welcomed to someone's home.

Tap water is drinkable! (no, this is not a matter of course in Fance). Breakfast is a buffet, you can take your food outside.
