Different tourists have different tastes and preferences, hence my wonderful experiences of BSB may not be the same as that of others. But given the cost of my recent visit to BSB, I must say that it is like a "province" of Singapore -- with wide, landscaped roadways, generally clean points of interests, and sparsely populated (because of Ramadan?).
We did have a good time!

I love Bandar Seri Begawan.
I love Bandar Seri Begawan. It has been my ancestors' place of origin, of course, but that is not the only reason. The reasons are attractive places located at the heart of the city like Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque and Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien Park. Foods also can be found easily at the city at affordable price in Brunei dollar/ringgit.

Not a usual place for travellers, but once you're there you're in awe of the natural beauty and beautiful architecture of the country. It is a good place to travel to for a short trip of up to 4 days.

A taste of the South East.
A taste of the South East. Great food from so many different Asian countries. Very helpful calm happy people. Calm pace, they cannot be hurried. Large spaces, Pop-up street events. Covid-cautious.
My best dinner out was in KIMCHI Restaurant because I wanted Korean food. I was not disappointed. Not easy to get around as no public transportation easily available.... except you call for DART.

Its very small so 3 days is enough time. there isnt much to do but a trip to the mangroves to see the monkeys and to the rainforest is nice and peaceful if you are into nature. There isnt much luxury shopping and it is quite expensive. Local cuisine is good similar to their neighboring countries. Do try ambuyat its quite odd but worth a try.

Not much to d other then visit museums and markets.
Not much to d other then visit museums and markets. We ventured out to Tomburong which is a boat ride away and there are a lot activities there like sky walking where you go up 1000 steps n can see the jungle below, kayaking and trekking.
We ate at the local markets where local food is sold, cheap and very clean and food very tasty. If you are into gardening , few nice garden centers to visit . The only way to get around is by Taxi, which can be daunting g at times .

It was a basic room and it was more like a hostel than a homestay but it was very comfortable. All of the public spaces were clean and available for use. Yani was lovely and more than helpful in getting us settled into Brunei for a few days. There are bicycles you can borrow to cycle to the beach which was nice.
There are three very sweet cats which was lovely!
Due to the inclement weather, we were unable to go diving but they have their own dive shop which is super convenient as they come to you to plan the dive trips.
everything
1. location is in the middle of the commercial center, so everything is just within walking distance
2. its among the cheapest stays in Brunei so do not expect proper hotel facilities.
3. the place is cozy, the host Mr.Hamzah is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
4. they have a common mini kitchen for light prepping with fridge & microwave, you also can do your laundry & drying for free (the host will do it for you).
Safe, quiet area, adequate size room, hot water, comfortable bed,
Incredible attentive staff! The shuttle to/from the airport and all local attractions made my trip so much easier. Miss May helped with SIM card challenges! Good hot breakfast with eggs, local foods, fruit provided a good start to each day. Excellent housekeeping. Convenient 1 mile walk to riverfront, restaurants. Drinking water provided.
Probably the best hostel in Brunei. If you want to at least have a shot at meeting other travellers, then come here. Super clean, moden feel. Really nice cafe-ish area with big windows. Kitchenette, so you can make basic stuff yourself. Helpful staff. Fully curtained dorm beds(lower ones at least). Can't beat the location.
comfy bed and great location… mall across the street Wa food court on the 2nd floor and best of all you can walk to the night market where most everything, it’s all food, costs $1. BND. Way better area ti stay than central where it’s always very sleepy. the host was AMAZING!! so very helpful!! Thank you very very much!!
Very spacious, fits for 3 family. we checked in with total of 14 people. Everything is provided & clean. Really love the place! will definitely come again for our next trip in Brunei. You can bring extra comforter & pillow just in case because the living room itself is big. Beautiful view as well! worth every penny.
Good location, 15 minutes walk to the mosque, lots of shops and restaurants near. Their river cruise is excellent, we enjoyed it a lot our stay. Thanks. Brunei deserves your time and visit, plenty of things to see and quite lively and charming atmosphere and people. Friendly and open.
Great business hotel. It has spacious, clean rooms and a great breakfast if you book with that option. There is no pool and not a lot of other amenities, however. If you are the type that is out and about mostly when you are traveling like we are, this is a great option!
Best part of our stay here was the availability of the free shuttle bus. Not only did it pick us up from the airport at midnight, it was also available to drop us at various tourist spots like the night markets. Comfortable stay. Modest breakfast included.
Access to the family-oriented facilities in one compound - bowling, gym and billiard pool as well as the nature walk along the beach shores.
The buggy ride was a fun experience and efficient way for hotel guests to move around the hotel compounds.
The hotel is not far from town and walkable to many of the key attractions. The room was comfortable as would be expected from the Radisson group. Good pressure in the shower. Breakfast was very good and served overlooking the pool.
This hotel made our stay in Brunei perfect. All of the staff went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. I'd especially like to recognize Rophia at the front desk for helping us many times & for being very thoughtful.
Nice place to stay. staffs are so good and helpfull. We got all the helps from receptionist . she is amazing lady. Brunei is a beautiful nice and clean peacefull country. if we go again we will stay ponihomestay again
Rooms were very clean and the buffet spread was extremely good Will come back and stay again at this hotel as the surrounding area itself is so conveniently.. close proximity to a lot of things.
The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. It was a guesthouse and I met a number of the people staying there. This does not usually happen in a hotel setting so it was a nice change.
Staff, breakfast and other provisions were worth our money, and the location was excellent. I will recommend this hotel to friends and office colleagues.
