This place is excellent. The staff are lovely and even helped me find my onward transport in town, the room was great and Wi-Fi superb. The on-site restaurant is also superb. Don’t bother staying anywhere else in town and just stay here - it’s excellent value for money.

The town roads were a disaster zone in 2018, with the worst kind of pot-holes and in 2021, three years later, nothing has been changed. The Municipality should consider taking out all tar and rather have gravel roads that are graded occasionally!

I grew up around Ladybrand in the farms, and it was a beautiful small place where we used to shop with my parents. Right now the tarred roads are non existent - pot holes all over the place. Are there any Municipal services in this place. this is a disgrace to our country. If anybody real cares for this country something has to be done here.

This once beautiful town in the Free State is now just another little town in the Free State that is not worth the ride into town. The roads is in a horrible condition and the few restaurants there is very basic and service isn't memorable. except for the church and the old station, i don't see the need to stop there.

Our trip to Ladybrand was to spend a couple a days with a good old friend. Eating places are all good and easy to access excepted for the degraded road/streets condition. Getting around is fairly easy even on foot; it is said that security can be hazardous after sunset but never had a problem. Speaking Afrikaans can be a plus while most people are bilingual. The geographical setting is very pleasant with the Lesotho mountains scenery.

Secure off street parking at a charming, well maintained facility in Ladybrand. Rooms have fireplaces and gas heaters which is wonderful in the middle of winter. Our host went out of her way to collect food from a local take out for ourselves (A group of motorcyclists). Great facilities all round.

Hosts go out of their way for you and are in communication with you even before you arrive. Clean and modern looking room and bathroom. They pay attention to detail. A hotel with self catering equipment ie.  Microwave, kettle, fridge etc. In summary: Value for money - 5 star experience.

Great place to stay with friendly efficient staff. The road through Ladybrand is appalling but worth the travel to visit this gem of a place. The food served at the restaurant is excellent. The pizza is the best in town. Good value for money.
