We had such a lovely stay at San Ottaviano. The reception and restaurant staff were all lovely, attentative and helpful - thank you! We had a room on the first floor and the view from our verana was stunning. The pool area is also lovely with amazing views. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and the evening dinner at the restaurant was lovely too. The on-site brewery tour with tasting was also fun and a good way to meet some other guests at the hotel! The location was good for visiting nearby towns, we especially liked Suvereto for bars and restaurants and a quiet option to visit a local medieval town rather than the big cities. There are also plenty of vineyards nearby to visit - we chose Petra vineyard which was such an interesting experience with a lovely wine tasting with food to finish! A car is necessary but the roads were very manageable.
