It was a spacious room with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and helpful. Its location was terrific for parking and walking to either sides of the town.
I stayed here for just a single night as a layover on a road trip from Spain to Austria. The room was old-fashioned but clean and quiet, so I had a good night's rest. Since Bardineto is a calm mountain village with few restaurants, I appreciated the option to have dinner at the hotel, even more so after my long drive. The owner speaks perfect English, and the rest of the staff, who didn't, were very patient with my broken Italian. I could even get advice on where to buy good Pesto alla Genovese on a Sunday—much appreciated!
