Not a lot to see in Kampong Thom itself, though visitors interested in history would like to visit the varions ancient sites in the vicinity. Kompong Thom is interesting because it is less Westernized than Siem Reap or Phnom Penh, but that also means that there are fewer facilities.
It's a big modern hotel with big comfortable rooms and bathrooms. It was super clean and equipped with everything we could wish for. The rooms had a view towards the pool. Since the pool area was nice and with a lot of plants you looked into the green. The food was also exquisite and although not a lot people were staying during the rain season/COVID the restaurant stayed open and we could get everything we wanted.
Beds were super comfy and I had a great sleep!
The hotel is amazing, very spacious and a lovely chic feel. What made it even better though was the staff. When we were accidentally dropped off in the completely wrong place by our bus driver, the hotel staff went above and beyond in making sure we got to the hotel safely, and helped us in contacting a driver to come pick us up. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and really made our stay here.
The location was perfect to cut the trip from Siem Reap to Phnom Pehn. The hotel is an oasis, the swimming pool was very nice, the hotel offers the possibility to take some bikes for a city ride (free of charge). The room was very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was super nice and available.
We really loved this hotel. Here is all what you need for short or long stay.
Room was big, bed was very comfortable, everything nice and clean. Breakfast was very tasty. Hotel staff polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
The information provided in booking.com is not true. I booked deluxe room and there were pictures of bathtub but when I arrived to hotel, there was no any bathtube in deluxe room. Thanks to management, they help me to change the room.
Nice stay, very good swimming pool, restaurant with wide and good menu. Conveniently close to road, we stopped there to visit Sampor prei kuk (45-60 minutes from hotel, by tuktuk for 25usd) driven by hotel staff
