Enkusero is a small boutique camp, owned and run by William who is a local Masai, a passionate host and an excellent guide with15 years of experience. He took us for tailor- made safaris and went out of his way to show us the Big Five and countless other wonderful creatures. The location was fantastic and ideally located to visit the Masai Mara reserve. Our tent was luxurious and beautifully furnished . They had wooden decks with large verandas, for us to enjoy the sight of zebras, wildebeest and gazelles that grazed and freely roamed around the camp. The camp was exclusive and intimate in character with 3-4 luxury tents, perfect for one large or two small families. The food was par excellence . Robert is a fabulous chef who delighted in serving us exquisite dishes, most beautifully presented. We were quite apprehensive of food as we are vegetarians but it seemed no trouble for the skilled chef. The team, service and hospitality was superb. We took packed breakfast on most morning game drives. They were delicious and plentiful. I would like to make a special mention of the bush dinner with camp fire and lanterns which was really spectacular. William also organised sundowner drinks and it was simply humbling watching the sunset in the vast, peaceful setting of the Mara. We thoroughly enjoyed a visit to the traditional village of the Masai community, which William was happy to organise. To add to all this, the money spent at the camp directly benefits the local Masai community as it provides direct employment and there are no middlemen involved. We stayed 5 nights and each day was above all our expectations. Fantastic place where to stay if you want to be in the middle of wilderness and at the same time feel safe, special and be treated like royalty. Entumoto Main Camp i Ololaimutiek erbjuder boende med utsikt över trädgården, en utomhuspool och en trädgård. I de egna badrummen finns dusch, gratis badprodukter och hårtork. We had a fantastic stay at Entumoto! The rooms were spacious and clean, filled with all amenities and the service we received was exceptional. Alex was our guide for our game drives and he was incredible and so knowledgeable! We received great food every day and some highlights were a surprise lunch in the middle of our safari day. Our experience was really tailored to what we wanted. Would highly recommend! Also the views were amazing from the camp.

Maji Moto Eco Camp is located at the foot of the little-known and spellbindingly beautiful Loita Hills. Staying in the Camp was one of the best experiences in Kenya. We stayed there only for one night, but we learnt so much about Massai and felt extremely welcome. The staff showed us there world and guided us, so that we felt part of their home during a bush walk. We learnt the meaning of some of their dances and were shown the fire making without lighter. The food was good and original, but don’t expect a 5 course meal. It was simply good! For us as it was a must have while around the Mara.

The Fig Tree Camp - Maasai Mara ligger vid Talekflodens strand, mitt i nationalparken Maasai Mara. Här finns boende med eget badrum samt pool och restaurang. Jambo, Hands down the trip of a life time! At the heart of the trip is the amazing Fig Tree Camp. The camp is surrounded by wildlife. Hippos and baboons can be seen from the safety of your riverside tent. Make sure to bring a set of ear plugs as the hippos are extremely loud during twilight hours. Hyena can also be heard at night time with their signature ‘whoo up’ sounds. The camp is situated on the Talek River which makes it situated in the heart of the habitat of local wildlife. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, food is amazing and the pool is handy in between game drives. The bar area is a fantastic place to talk to other visitors about your experiences while enjoying coffee or a bottle of Tusker or Two, be sure to try a cocktail made by the Maasai Maras number one mixologist Gideon and his assistants. Where to start with the game drives. This has to be hands down the most enjoyable experience I have ever had. A four day game drive gave me the opportunity to see the ‘Big Five’ and everything else the Maasai Mara had to offer. The highlight of the trip has to be watching a large male Lion steal a kill from a clan of Hyena at sunrise. I was also fortunate enough to see three week old Lion cubs and four separate Leopards. A lioness was also chased into the bush by a herd of elephants and unbeknown, a Black Rhino came hurtling out of the bush. My guide and guardian Johnathan was on point everyday and knew where to find the local wildlife. I also had the opportunity to visit a Maasai Village and experience the culture of the legendary Maasai Warriors. Rhino Tourist Camp ligger 800 meter från Oloolaimutia Gate vid Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Hotellet har en bar och en restaurang och omges av frodig grönska. Beautiful, well-cared and quite camp very near to ololomuitia gate. Perfect to rest after safari game. The personnel were very kind and helpful. We appreciate the hot water for shower.
