This city is the capital city of the district, which in itself has less relevant attractions. We traveled great distances every day to places within a radius of about 75 km from her.
The old town is nice but not something you don't see in many other cities in Poland.
And certainly not the most attractive.
We really enjoyed our accommodation which was very pleasant and comfortable, we enjoyed the best and cheap restaurants in the city.
But beyond that we would probably choose to spend the night somewhere else, most likely in the city of Karpacz.

Jelenia goes is a nice small city.
Jelenia goes is a nice small city. If you want a nice quiet place to spend time with your spouse and or family it is perfect. Swim at the city pool. Go to see time gates it's a crazy history lesson that is fun. Walk in the old town and enjoy reasonably priced meals, drinks, and deserts. Biking and hiking trails and parks nearby. We speak English and German. It was not as easy to get by as the bigger cities but way less money. Probably not a good place to come party. I didn't see many clubs. Shops close about 8 pm

From Jelenia Góra valley, located in the middle of the mountains from Lower Silesia (Dolny Sląsk), one can admire impressive views over the surrounding mountain tops but also enjoy beautiful small cities. Cieplice is a charming district of Jelenia Gora, were you can enjoy Termy Cieplice ( Cieplice Termal Baths). The complex has several outdoor and indoor pools for swimming or relaxation and a spa area. Also the area of Cieplice is quite pretty to wander around as well since it’s filled with beautiful buildings built by the Schaffgotsch family in the 1700s. There is also a big and nice English garden (Park Zdrojowy) opened much of it to the public. Cieplice is also a great place to explore the the Karkonosze or Giant Mountains National Park. The Kopa Chairlift (Kolej linowa na Kopę) is about 30 minutes drive distance. From the Top Station you can climb the 1602 high Sněžka. (it is advisable to take warmer clothes to Sněžka as the temperature up can be more than 10C lower than at the village of Karpacz). Also you can visit the central city of Jelenia Gora with a great Old Town. If you have time and a car you can visit also Pałac Wojanów (20 minutes drive) or make a trip to the biggest Silesian castle: Książ Castle near Wałbrzych (one hour drive). Or if your stay is more than a week you can visit Wroclaw, one of the most charming cities of Poland.

The places close to Jelenia Gora, such as Park of miniatures in Kowary, Palac Wojanow, Palac Lomnica, or Karpniki Fischbach Castle are of particular interest. More distant Castle Czocha is famous but rather overcrowded.
Przytulne na poddaszu is a beautiful place in a really quiet area. If you wish to take a rest from a noisy city, then this is the place where you will find peace. Host is the most welcoming person I have ever met. Thank you Sebastian.
In the apartment you will find all the items that you need for cooking. There are two beds on two levels. Long story in short, that is very cosy and lovely place to stay if you wish to visit Jelenia Góra city. Very recommended 👌
Thank you! Will come back there again for sure!
A nice hotel in the middle of a lovely spa town.
The room was clrean and comforable with a good shower.
We were there for the nearby parkrun, which takes place at 9am on a Saturday, and the hotel kindly allowed us to have breakfast when we returned from it at about 9:50, although technically the breakfast room closes at 10.
Friendly, comfortable, rustic rooms in a historical monument building in the immediate vicinity of the old town, paid parking lot at 25 PLN on a nearby street (go to Pilsudskiego street, then the entrance is from Armii Krajovei street, common with the Europa hotel parking lot). Very good breakfast.
The location is great. You have railway station in 15 min, bus stop in 5 min (Google knows nothing about buses in Jelenia Góra, but you can use Jakdojade), Żabka on 10 min and downtown in 15 min walk from the apartment. I think Jelenia Góra will be as good as Zakopane in the nearest future.
Everything combined to make this hotel an exceptional rejuvenating experience. The kindness and calmness of the staff was admirable. The hotel pampers with elegance, peace, living comforts, and the beauty of the nature outside. My dog and I both had a wonderful time relaxing.
Nice location 1 km from the historic centre of Jelenia Gora, municipal swimming pool 100 mts (only july-august), in the camping is common kitchen, new toilets and showers seat area, barbecue possibilities. The trailers / mobil homes in the area are various quality (age).
It was a pleasant surprise. I chose this hotel because of price and didn’t expect too much. Not only the location is perfect but the staff was very friendly, the hotel and rooms were clean and really well taken care of. Finally, breakfast was really fresh and tasty.
A magical place to spend some time in! We went together with my family for a birthday celebration so we stayed mainly in the hotel. We did only a walk to Staniszow village and then 15min to Gora Witosza with a beautiful view on Karkonosze.
Great location right in the old town and just a three minute walk to the KCM Clinic. Free parking down the hill in front of the Giant bike shop. Clean flat. Comfy couch. One of the nicest places we've stayed in Jelenia Góra actually.
Tasty and rich breaks. It was highlight of the stay. Hotel stuff was always nice and helpful. Even things what I did not like it's nice hotel. Room was facilitated with a cattle, bottles of water, cafe and tea.
The place and locations are really good, it is just right outside the Jelenia Gora. The room was big, there is a parking, nice breakfast. The hotel has massage and spa. However it is closed on Sunday :(
Location, room and breakfast, absolutely stunning. Staff, especially on reception very helpful, friendly and professional.
Hotel room was clean and had a balcony, which we have enjoyed.
Good location not far away from Jelenia Góra and other interesting locations. The apartment is fully equipped and with private parking. Great option if you're travelling with pets.
Helpful and friendly stuff, we come there in a group with 8 bikes, and it was no problem to park them inside the hotel. Breakfast very good and great location in the city Centre.
Really enjoyed the surroundings. There are nature paths around the hotel with variety of wildlife. Quiet and peaceful location. The food was also very good and excellent value
