The Art Glass gallery is a must-see. It's right next to the Art Gallery, which is also good. All of this area has been given a big makeover and is quite special. Wagga also has fine Botanical Gardens but the standout is the free Zoo and Aviary, including a free-flight enclosure where birds land on your shoulders and generally seek your attention. I wish I'd had the time to see more!

An overnight trip whilst travelling to Melbourne so short and sweet. I liked the main shopping street and found an authentic Thai restaurant called G. Thai for some take-away dinner. Also enjoyed the Wagga Beach in the early morning - beautiful spot on the Murrumbidgee River with a walking track I wish I'd had more time to walk along.

I went to play in a Croquet Tournament.
The Croquet facilities were exceptional and the people of Wagga Wagga looked after us all extremely well. I will be returning next year for the Tournament.
As my time was spent on the Croquet Lawns I did not get to do anything else.
I did find a great coffee shop in the Sturt Mall - outside Big W.

We were very surprised by our brief stay in Wagga. We enjoyed the main street on Saturday morning. The lady at the Information centre was super friendly and helpful.
The beach and play ground was fantastic and could have spend a day there if we had of had time. Visited the Charles Sturt University cellar doors which was a great experience.
The choice of affordable eating options in the main street was great. i think that you could spend 3-4 relaxing days in to see the main attractions and not be pushed for time.

We really only had 1.5 days to explore Wagga Wagga, a large country town, with a broad range of shopping options, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs. We drove to Wagga Beach (Murrumbidgee River), which had pleasant rest areas and barbeques. It also has a large leisure centre and outlet centr.

There was a major event on in town that booked out most accommodation and car hire as well as restaurants. Even with all that was going on in town everything worked well to cater to the number of people. The only issue we had was we couldn't find information online as to what the event was. It would have been beneficial as a traveler to have this information advertised by council, just as a heads up for those not in the loop.
We love our stay in this hotel! Very luxurious feel of the bedroom. Clean and modern facilities. The bathroom was clean, great shower. USB and light switches conveniently located on your bedside. Comfy bed. Ample parking space. Checking in was a breeze. Prior to arrival they already emailed covid questions which was handy and no need to hand in your CC etc. Resto across also served great meals. We didn't have to drive far to look.
Excellent location , comfortable room with a courtyard . For your dinner just a phone call and dinner delivered to room or walk across carpark up a flight of stairs to RSL Club . Great selection of meals and open for breakfast . Staff very friendly and accommodating. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds . Highly recommend a stay to any one travelling through Wagga Wagga
Beds were extremely comfortable and bathrooms were very clean and has all the amenities, as good as more known brands like Crown Plaza etc. Overall great value for money at a reasonable price. By comparable hotels and motels available in Wagga Wagga I would rate this as one of the good ones.
Quiet location close to CBD, restaurants and shopping. Arriving and checking in reminded us of how hotels/motels were run, personalised greeting, advice on local activities restaurants etc, sadly missing from today’s technological world. Apartment was clean quiet and comfortable
We had come to Wagga Wagga for a concert at the Civic Theatre, so chose this property based on location which was perfect. Less than a 100m to the venue and a very short walk to a great little spot for drinks and dinner. The woman at reception was so lovely and very helpful :)
super clean- the cleaning team deserve a pat on the back! very quiet and comfortable. Located in historic Wagga Wagga. We enjoyed a stroll around the town. Dinner at a lovely Vietnamese restaurant and morning coffee at Larry’s- a trendy little shop on a lovely street.
Friendly owners who were very helpful and instructions given were easy to follow to find the cottages.Quiet location in nature and not far from the town centre of Wagga Wagga. Try out their delicious honey collected from their tranquil farm.
From arriving a little earlier than we planned and everything was ready to go and wonderful roomy and just amazing and would stay again if coming back to Wagga Wagga. Parking was really easy and Staff were happy to accommodate us on arrival.
The location was great, and the whole process was fantastic. The room was as expected and the water pressure on the shower was fantastic. I wish you could order hotels by shower pressure! The easy parking was a bonus.
The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
Being next door to the club was very handy for drinks and meals.
Would be happy to stay there on our next visit to Wagga Wagga.
