The location was fabulous: very buzzy, and lots to observe from the second floor, but also very quiet once the window was closed.

8-10 days is the perfect amount of time to rest and see the most important things. Food is absolutely amazing and the views are even better. Perfect fusion of the modern world and the traditional Korea.

Seoul is a wonderful city, but my trip was ruined because of my hotel room. I couldn't sleep due to NO Air Conditioning .It was 27 degrees in the room. Disappointed in Migliore Hotel in Myeongdong. I asked other guest staying about the lack of air condition and they all were disappointed. What disappointed me the most is that event though I spoke to front desk staff about the discomfort, they did not try to make any adjustments to the temperature. My concerns were not addressed.
Booking.com should let their customers know that there is no air conditioning at this hotel. They should do a site visit before listing this hotel on their website.
The worse hotel experience. TI ruined by trip to Korea.

Our visit to the DMZ was the highlight of our time in Seoul.
Our visit to the DMZ was the highlight of our time in Seoul. We enjoyed visiting the markets and the palaces. We were thankful that we had a guide because we don't eat seafood and knowing what we were eating was essential. Being close to the railway system was convenient and helpful.

A huge City with a fantastic affordable metro system ( subway/buses ). Museums and art galleries everywhere and most are free or little money to visit, over 65’s go free. The 5 palaces are well worth a visit and don’t miss out on the secret garden. Be prepared to eat lots of delicious food.

This is one of the most exciting destinations at the moment!
This is one of the most exciting destinations at the moment!
There's that irresistible mix of ultra modern and historical tradition that seeps through your entire stay, and no matter how long you stay, it's always too short.
The transportation system is easy to manage, clean, and punctual and taxis are cheap, but don't miss out on walking through Seoul forest or along the Han river. Walk up Namsan or up to Ihwa mural village and enjoy the splendid view over Seoul. Or cross the Sky Bridge at Lotte Tower for some adrenaline!
The streets are clean and safe, and never did I as a woman once feel unsafe or scared walking around late at night. Hongdae, away from the touristy main streets, at night is magical!
And don't even get me started on the food! This is foodie heaven! Have a full Korean barbecue with all the banchan, or rub shoulders with locals on long benches around a sundae market stall, or pick up a quick street food snack like hotteok or Bungeoppang.
If you haven't visited Seoul yet, my only questions are: Why? and When are you going?
We were traveling Japan and Korea for 5 weeks and had the pleasure of staying in the four seasons Seoul for the last 5 nights of our trip. It was the best hotel we went to by far.
Facilities are wonderful, gym is out of this world (real benches and squat racks- weightlifters dream). The bar and restaurants are fantastic.
The hotel went out of their way to make me feel special on my birthday also. The concierge team is the best- Dawn and Alex especially helped us with some wonderful recommendations!
Le Mong was in a great location and easy to find. The staff was friendly and informative during check-in but was difficult to communicate with in advance of arrival (due to both operating hours and language barriers). The rooms were a good size compared to several other hotels in South Korea I also stayed in during my trip. The rooms were clean and towels were refreshed every day. Breakfast was good - not a wide variety of options but enough to find something for almost anyone!
It's a before and after experience. Once you have been through a few other hotels in Korea, you will realize that this one is really well thought through. Especially for folks from outside Korea. For example, coin laundry, English speaking staff, shower, toilet with bidet, rooftop seating, refill for drinking water (I don't like using new plastic bottles everytime), optional breakfast (this could be made slightly cheaper), access to bus stops, subway etc.
Although the room was very small, it was still comfortable enough for two people for a one week stay, keeping in mind we had a lot of luggage! It was nice to have a separate shower in the bathroom as this isn't always the case in South Korean hotels. The lobby on the top level was also a nice place to sit and enjoy the view of Myeongdong, have a cup of coffee or do your washing. The staff were also very helpful and accommodating.
The location is one of the best in Seoul. From a travelling standpoint, Seoul is divided into a few areas such Hongdae for the exciting student vibe, Myeongdong for shopping, Gangnam for the glitz and Ferraris, Itaewon for foodies, Insadong Seoul for a traditional vibe and so on.
Mercure has the absolute best location for Hongdae, just a minute’s walk from the station and central to all the action without any compromise.
The host was there at the building and helped us check in. Otherwise - I think this is one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Gangnam/Southern Seoul. Conveniently located next to Starfield and one of the main metro stations, it's such a great value for money. It was near the end of our 10 days in Korea so we took advantage of the washing machine as well to wash some of our clothing. Very comfy bed as well.
This hotel was the perfect place to look around Hongdae.
The room was super comfortable(especially bedding) and the check-in was easy.
My room had a gorgeous city view and Wi-Fi was fast.
There was no spa and gym, but famous aesthetic clinic in Korea was on the 3rd floor. It was a great place to relax while having skin treatment
Excellent hotel stay, room was spacious and clean, superb location, good breakfast - prefer more korean food though, staff and housekeepers friendly and nice. Best so close to mrt just few steps and shopping , restaurant area. Have already started recommending friends to stay for their holidays in Seoul!
Modality of the hotel, rooms, breakfast which appeared to be a balanced combination of European and Korean styles. Location is also fine - at reasonable distance both from the Central station (for the best way to reach we recommend to use taxi and not metro for the first time) and local attactions.
Great central location in myeongdong and easy walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff, they accommodated our requests for airport transportation. Very cute and unique movie theme to the hotel. Comfy beds, big spacious bath tub and the best rain shower. Highly recommend!
Grand Hyatt Seoul is old, but has been one of the best hotels in Korea for a very long time. It has everything you can get from a top hotel including various restaurants, bars, ice skating rink, outdoor/indoor swimming pool, with a great view of either Namsan or Seoul.
super new and clean, really spacious. lots of charging points too, with USB ports in case you don’t have a travel charger! it’s a good place to stay if you go to hapjeong/hongdae or gangnam often. takes about 45min from Incheon Airport to the hotel!
Totally does not feels like 3 star hotel. More like 5 star. My boys were all surprised. The location is excellent too, both to tourist spots and going to airport . Best part is Lotte Mart is at the basement! Spoilt for food choices
The place was so convenient to find food and go shopping and it's much cheaper to shop from that area compared to myeongdong market..
Will definitely recommend to stay there because I'll stay there again if I go back to Korea...
Location is excellent, room is comfy, modern and clean
Services is beyond 5 star hotel. Love it so much!
The staff is all very nice and speak very goid english. Will definitely back to this hotel if we come to korea.
Absolutely amazing view of Namsan Tower. Was a wonderful finish for our South Korea trip.
Delicious food at the hotel’s restaurant and beautiful room with a window view of Namsan Tower was just a dream come true.
Very funky designed hotel with amazing korean modern art works all over hotel. Very good location to explore viby Cheongdam and Gangnam. For this price it exeeded my expectations!
