Breakfast was fine but we were at the end of the season when we think lots was closing down so probably not the same as in high season.
Location was ok for us as we have family there but would not visit otherwise as nothing to do.
This modern hotel is located in central Cartagena, opposite the tourist office and the ancient city walls. Cartagena´s train and bus stations are within a 3-minute walk.

Cartagena is a beautiful city with stunning architecture, a lovely waterfront, charming squares surrounded by restaurants, and wonderful Roman ruins to see. We would definitely return for a longer stay, as we were only there one night.

Cartagena is a beautiful, small city- not crowded like the other cities we visited. Beautiful architecture along with Roman ruins, especially the amphitheater. Didn’t get to fully explore it, because I was sick one day. Worth a repeat visit.

If you are interested in history there is lots to see in this area, The Roman Ampitheatre, The Underwater Archaeology museum, Drive out from Cartegena on the minor roads in to the hills to discover lots of industrial archaeology. Take a boat trip round the harbour. Discover Aledo a hilltop town. Eating out can be cheap if you eat the menu de dia or a feast if you order off the main menus.

I spent 16 nights in Cartagena because I ran out of money during my backpacking trip in Europe and this was one of the cheapest places to stay in Spain.
Cartagena is a naval port town dotted with ancient ruins, medieval batteries, and beautiful mediterranean foliage. You can spend your time relaxing at la playa, hiking in the national park, having beers at hole-in-the-wall bars, and people-watching with your tostada de tomate in the late morning. The people are friendly and the street cats are adorable. It’s very walkable but there is an extensive bus service as well. It’s maybe not the most amazing coastal spot in Spain but if you’re broke, Cartagena is a lovely town to spend your time in.
Favourite hike: Mt Roldán
Favourite breakfast/coffee spot: Cafés Céldran
Favourite activities: the tourist boat (only 6€!), the Roman Theatre, and the Municipal Archaeological Museum

Cartagena is a lovely city.
Cartagena is a lovely city. Loads of things to see, museums, Roman ruins and more modern sights like the Civil War air raid shelter near to the castle.
The centre of the city is lovely with lots of places to eat and drink at not very expensive prices. The tapas choice is brilliant and offered by every restaurant. It's easy to walk around the town and you don't need a car. The open top Tourist bus is a good way to see the city, so well worth the hour round trip.
We'd definitely make another visit.

Great little city for a two/three night stay (maximum).
Great little city for a two/three night stay (maximum). Lots of history in the Roman teatro, the castle and the naval museums. Nice traffic free city centre with plenty of choice of restaurants and bars, Friendly and safe.
The place is nice and very well located, 500 m from the Roman theatre and city center of Cartagena. We found a parking spot right near the hostel. The room was bigger than expected - actually is was a room with a double bed and also a bunch bed and we were just 2. The room was clean, big bathroom. There is also a common kitchen with fridge and kettle and 2 terraces on the 3rd and 4th floor. For a short stay is perfect. Nice local bars in the close neighborhood.
The property is surrounded by stores and cafeterias, bakeries, and a lovely ice cream store! My family and I felt home! The beach is 15 min by car. Beautiful beach! I have never found all the necessary amenities in other houses that I booked as I found in this one. The host thought about everything and every little detail! The host is so kind and thoughtful! Very easy access to the apartment and there are 2 elevators. Very nice and secured building.
The property was extremely well located in the heart of the city / waterfront. Check-in was a breeze and the staff, especially Rosario, went the extra mile to be helpful. The apartment was generously laid out and very comfortable. My wife and I celebrated our 31st Wedding Anniversary in Cartagena on a month long tour of Portugal and Spain, and we are so pleased that we chose this location for our special day. ¡Bravo!
Beach Blessing is very well named, it was a blessing indeed for us, immaculate, extremely well equipped, spacious, back and front outdoor space with furniture, literally 2min walk to the beach (under a min if you fancy a jog, we didn’t 😆) Air con was brilliant, FULL fitted kitchen with everything you could ever need, 5⭐️++
Very good hotel in great location i.e. in walking distance to the old city center. Very convenient paid parking right in front of the hotel. Super nice, multilingual reception staff. Clean. Good Wifi. Great shower. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. Reasonable prices. I'll definitely stay here again.
Location was very good. Near ( 10 minute walk) to plenty of restaurants and bars. Close to Roman museum. Check in efficient and staff helpful and friendly. Cartagena is a great city to visit. Room very clean. I would describe the hotel as cheap and cheerful rather than 3 star comfort.
In the middle of old town, beautiful apartment with living room window to large square with terraces. Bedrooms back are very quiet. It has charming character and style, and flexible caring owners. Even a bit luxury feel with nice decorations around. AC in every room, too.
Stayed 3 nights in a room with (small) balcony. Recommended. Uused the kitchen, all exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very good location, walk from bus/ train, walk to sights. Walked to Cala Cortina beach, some 45 minutes.
Best location overlooking the harbor! Centrally located for food and shopping. Breakfast was great, hotel uses a wonderful bakery, makes fresh juices. Had two other meals there and was quite good. Very attentive staff.
Cartagena is beautiful. There are magnificent Roman remnants. One can enjoy the view of the city and the sea from a splendid park above the town. The city has special and romantic atmosphere. The hotel was nice.
We really enjoyed our stay in Tara Casa. There are a lot of nice and not very crowded beaches a short drive away. The hosts were very friendly, we even did a course on how to make mosaics on our last day!
Room size was very good , breakfast was good ,very clean everywhere in the room and hotel , at dinner the salad starter was very good underground parking free was a great bonus .👍 well done.
Nice little apartment, clean.
The host was great. He helped with my bags and showed me were the bus was and got me checked into my new place. He is the best thing about the place.
